To support our growth and turn our future plans into reality, we’re looking for a residential property manager to join our team.

Your Position

Under the direction of the Real Estate Director, the Residential Property Manager will manage the buildings under his/her supervision.

Your Day to Day

  • Develop and maintain a healthy relationship with tenants;
  • Establish and maintain a rigorous building maintenance schedule;
  • Plan, negotiate, allocate and manage service contracts and repair requests for each building with the help of project managers and suppliers;
  • Organize and collaborate with project managers to ensure the smooth running, conservation and improvement of buildings;
  • Optimize energy consumption in buildings by implementing measures.
  • Ensure the building’s exterior and interior appeal;
  • Be creative in offering services to tenants;
  • Manage maintenance and renovation projects, including estimates, budgets and schedules;
  • Oversee the leasing of available units with external agents;
  • Participate in the development of the marketing strategy for each building
  • Liaise with municipal authorities;
  • Verify all work and service invoices before sending to accounting.
  • Prepare the annual operating budget for each building in collaboration with the Property Manager.
  • Prepare TAL files and represent Groupe Inspire’s interests at court hearings.
  • All other related tasks.

Your Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of residential real estate law
  • Knowledge of renovation, an asset
  • Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and excellent computer skills.
  • Knowledge of property management IT systems (Yardi, Hopem, Sales Force).
  • Valid driving license and car.
